Introduction to web accessibility in education

When web-based educational resources are properly designed, students with disabilities are able to access them. Sometimes there are barriers which present challenges for students. As Time Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, states:

"The power of the Web is in its universality. Access by everyone regardless of disability is an essential aspect."

In this webinar, we will discuss what is web accessibility, why is it important in our classrooms, how we can ensure accessibility, as well as examples. Proper accessibility in our courses can help teachers focus on student learning, and can help students focus on course content.
